On behalf of the Board of Directors of EndCAN, we want you to know that the organization has reduced its size and scope this past year.  We are still actively soliciting and awarding research grants from Child Abuse Pediatric trainees and junior faculty, as well as funding some small Board recommended community grants.  We no longer have a full-time staff (since February 2024) and are actively trying to get others in the field to take over the walks that we successfully had for several years in Denver, Columbus and Milwaukee.  We are financially sound.

We still believe that there is a need for a national effort to advocate for health, mental health and public health approaches to reducing the impact of childhood physical, sexual and emotional abuse, and will continue to look for other partners (probably in other time zones) to work with us toward our collective goals.
