If you’re not sure what to put in the “Why are you raising money?” box when you set up your Facebook fundraiser, here’s an example to give you inspiration:
“Hello Facebook Friends, with everything going on in 2020, I’ve been longing to have some kind of a positive impact on our community before the year ends. Why not crowd fund a small fundraiser for an organization I believe in? If you’re able, I would be ecstatic if you would chip in a donation of any size to my fundraiser for EndCAN, The National Foundation to End Child Abuse and Neglect. You can learn more about their work at endcan.org.”
